What is the difference between UL/FM certified fire pumps and standard pumps?

UL/FM fire pumps are tested and certified by internationally recognized laboratories, ensuring reliable performance under fire conditions. Standard pumps do not undergo such rigorous testing and may fail to deliver required flow and pressure during emergencies.

Yes. All fire pumps supplied by Imen Harigh Paydar are designed, assembled, and tested in full compliance with NFPA 20 requirements.

A jockey pump is designed to compensate for minor pressure drops in the system and keep it primed. The main fire pump, however, is activated during fire conditions to deliver the full flow and pressure required by the system.

Water booster sets are designed for domestic or municipal water supply and are usually built to local standards. Fire-fighting booster sets, however, must comply with NFPA 20 and, in many cases, hold UL/FM certifications.

Locally manufactured equipment: Immediate delivery, ex-stock or within 24 hours.

UL Listed fire pumps and imported equipment: 45 to 90 working days depending on model and capacity.
